The treasurer is responsible for all the financial matters of the association. In the beginning of the year the treasurer will spend a lot of time making the year budget of the association. The financial policy plan has to be in line with the long-term financial policy plan of the association. Besides the policy focus points of the Board should be visible in the financial policy plan as well.
During the year, the treasurer will have to adjust your initial budget to all unexpected changes. In other words, the treasurer will be responsible for all financial administration. Next to this important task, the treasurer is also responsible for cash registers and applying for grants.
