Guess what guys ??? It's intro week and welcome to our world !!! This week is gonna be crazy and what you are going to experience is loads of fun, partying, new friends, very little sleep and yes, alcohol ofcourse! And no, we are not carrying you home ;) Why did we become coaches ? because we are going to make sure you have the time of your life. And now its story time for you, as we tell you a little something about ourselves.

Meet Anna, she is half Indian, half German and speaks sarcasm as a fourth official language. Something you need to be warned about ? Yes, those out of the blue laugh attacks even in the absence of drug abuse of any sort! Last year she got to know her coaches better ^^ (ehem ehem) and well the rest is for her to know and you to find out! Oh by the way, in case you are a sexy hot pilot and own an air plane, you are on her list ;)

Now let us introduce you to Annebelle, the second (maybe even the better)half of your great coach team. Half Dutch and half Czech, theres nothing much you need to be worried about here. Chill and down to earth, thats Annebelle, always with a smile on her face :D Sitting in the park with a bottle of wine or going to the beach during the day is paradise for her and of course the day wouldnt be perfect with a party at the end of the day.

We are Gergana and Anna, and guess, who we are..we are your  coaches! Two Eastern Europeans are here to make your first Utrecht days unforgettable! You are just about to have a great week of new experience, and challenges, and fun; your new life starts and we are here to make it even greater!

Gergana is from Bulgaria, she’s 20 and along studying hard she’s partying like hell! She loves shopping, hanging out with friends and dancing salsa with hot guys =P. So, if you have questions about studies, good clubs and KORTINGEN, feel free to ask!

Aaand, Anna comes from Ukraine, she’s also 20. Last year she had such a great time on her Introweek that she couldn’t avoid getting into it again. She likes a good combination of working hard and enjoying the life. She’s a dreamer, so don’t forget to wake her up, you’ve got a tight schedule to follow.

Studying, partying, jumping over your head, you are going to do it here in USE and much more, and your enthusiastic coaches will be there to encourage and tease you through all the crazy challenges you’ll face!

The gods of fate have smiled on you and decided that you will spend introduction week with the White Stripes.  Well, aside from being happy that you have a good song for your group (hey, at least better than the spice girls or venga boys) you can also rejoice knowing that you’ll be guided by the best motherfucking coaches ever.  We have been friends for over a year now, and we know a thing or two about student life.  Here’s a little about us to give you an idea of what’s in store. 

Miles is an efficient piece of German machinery. He’s the most punctual kid you’ve ever met, and he’ll eat your pets if you are ever late.  Ever.  Oh, and to you Dutch people, he’s a true patriot, so don’t even think about singing the “Alle Duitsers zijn homo’s” parody.  He’ll lay the Untergang down on your ass.

Johnny is a true redneck, hailing from the deep woods of East Texas.  He enjoys drinking beer, shooting shit, country music and 19^th century Russian literature. And if you’re hungry, he makes the best damn burgers ever. Before you ask, no, he never voted for Bush. Don’t mess with Texas.

Hello! We are Oliver and Irene, 2nd and 3rd year students of this great bachelor! We are the combined heads of the party committee,
so fun and partying are common terms in our vocabulary. We have years of experience in throwing great parties but especially enjoying them!

Oliver, slightly older then the average 2nd year, is a dedicated student. He has rounded off his 1st year with good grades.  However, this dedication has not restricted him in enjoying Utrecht! This Austrian has found the ultimate balance between study and pleasure. Oliver is the ideal guide for Utrecht’s pubs and other coffee places.

Irene THE die-hard Relaxcie member always keeps a clear head in the even most disorganized situations and knows how to organize a week packed of fun! She enjoys rowing, partying and relaxing. Well and sometimes she might plan to study, which doesn’t mean she is not a good student.

Our aim as your coaches is to make this week the experience of your lifetime! We want to make it as memorable for you as the week was for us.

YOU GOTTA FIGHT, FOR YOUR RIGHT, TO PARTY!!!

So, this is it, finally after an awesome summer holiday, you will be thrown into the pit. No matter where you’re coming from - either Holland or abroad, this is the time to experience the amazing, wonderful and miraculous Utrecht, but not on your own! With the help of two of the craziest second year students around a fun time is guaranteed! Zori (19) and Ton (19) are going to help you survive and experience the student life. Both survivors of 2009’s introduction week and Heino camp they know how to handle things. They’ve known each other since the first day on, while scared from the new environment they were searching for friends. Zori comes from Bulgaria and Ton is from Holland. Although it might be a bit strange, because they are from completely different places, they go along with each other perfectly (especially when booze or parties are involved). Not only party time, but also study time is something they can answer questions about, so don’t hesitate if you have any! We wish you a wonderful time (which won’t be a problem) and hope you will enjoy your stay, and remember:

"Welkom in Utrecht" and welcome to the best introduction group 2010!

You have the pleasure of spending the most amazing week with us, Jessica and Judith aka the J²s.

Our cute and smiley Jessica is living in a lovely village called Baarn, close to Utrecht. Our sweetie and adorable Judith is from “Kingscornerforest” (Königseggwald), a tiny village in the very southern part of Germany.

We are 2nd year students, who met each other on the first day of the intro week last year. From the very first second, we were connected with each other and from that day on we stayed close friends.  This is what we will help YOU to find, good friends, a great experience, an introduction to a student’s life and of course an unforgettable week with a lot of fun and partying.

For the following days we are your guardian angels and you are our little saints who have to obey to the rules of heaven. Our advice to you: Listen to the holy voices of your guardian angels, make the best experience out of the intro week and most of all enjoy.

We're Marshella & Giedre! Marshella is 19 years old and she is dutch.
Giedre is from Lithuania and is 20 years old. We met during our introduction week and we're good friends since then. Our shared interests brought us together. We like partying, doing sports, and of course enjoying student life!
During our introduction week we met nice people, had a lot of fun and got useful information about the city, university and for Giedre (and other international students) about the Netherlands. We hope that your introduction week will be as amazing as ours!

Hi Freshmen!

Welcome in Utrecht!

Lucky you whose destiny it was to be part of this introduction group! Our team is the great combination of Laura Aussems (write it down: Awesome-s!) and Esmeralda Byberi (definitely write it down! Later on you’ll know why!). Esmeralda Byberi, a.k.a. Esme, comes from the Far East Jungle Albania. One of her characteristics is that she forgets everything! She might indeed be able to lose you as well during this week! But that’s why the other girl of the couple is there to find what Esme loses. Laura Aussems, a.k.a. Awesome-s, comes from the Southern Neighbour Jungle Belgium. She likes singing and playing music. One characteristic of both your team leaders is that they come late. Together we are a good combination of walking jukeboxes who finally don’t forget anything but are able to come late at every meeting!

Of course it’s a matter of survival when you start your first year studying, the whole year will be a survival! Thought you could make it without us? Nope! We will map you through your first chaotic week here in Utrecht and show you what this year is going to be about.

Be fit! Be there! Be on time (maybe we won’t)! And the week will be survivalish!

Ladies and Gents, prepare for an asswhippin´ first week at Utrecht University!

We, Hasim and Tim, are going to be your Intro-Coaches. Basically we are responsible for showing you around Utrecht and give a helping hand for all the organizational part, but there we are going to do a whole lot more than that. First of all, who are we? We both grew up in Germany. We both have German passports (Hasim not yet), but the blood in our party-veins is Southern-European or Latin-American respectively. We first met in last year’s Intro-group, nowadays we are good friends who came up with the idea to properly introduce people to Utrecht’s student life. People, that’s you! So we are going to tell you that it is really difficult to find rooms, that rooms are expensive and that you shouldn´t make too extensive use of the library.  Don´t get too excited yet! The Introduction-Week-Committee (yeah, there really exists such a thing!) came up with the glorious idea that Metallica fits us best. Therefore we proudly announce that you guys will perform “Nothing else matters” by Metallica in the battle of the bands during Intro-week, in front of millions of over-enthusiastic Dutchies.  Prepare!

Hi there!

We are Jamila and Kristina. We are both second-year students now. Jamila is from Azerbaijan (not Azarbaydzshan as everyone pronounces:D) and is doing a minor in geography. Kristina is from Bulgaria and is doing entirely economics programme. We met in the university last year as we were in the same tutorial groups and we quickly became very good friends. We know that in the beginning things may look a bit stressful and difficult. You have to meet requirements of the courses, attend tutorials; write papers….But don’t worry! University life is actually way more fun than you can imagine and the intro week is just the beginning! Now is the time for you to meet lots of awesome people and make yourself comfortable in the city. Utrecht is an amazing place and you are going to love it! We will make sure that you enjoy as much as possible your first day here!

SPICE GIRLS

Congrats with your entrance to Utrecht University! You have had a competitive time and now it’s a high time to enjoy yourself! We are here to accompany you everywhere. We- Nigar and Robin are spicy coaches from Azerbaijan and HollandJ

I bet you don’t know anything about Azerbaijan… So, you will explore it with us. Join us and let’s have   our introduction week together!

Robin has been a very dedicated student, so do not hesitate to ask him any questions about uni! However, now it is not the time for revising (yet), so please be prepared for an adventure of epic proportions! He is really excited for  this week and he is sure, that, together we will be a great team!

Nigar is currently a student at Utrecht University. She is actively involved into day-to-day student’s life, organizing sport events, conversation clubs, debates and parties. She likes music, books and travelling. She also loves eating ice- cream and chocolate-cookies :)Nigar is sociable, reliable and friendly. She is respectful to juniors and a great   help for freshmen!
