Faculteitsraad
Medezeggenschap De medezeggenschap binnen de faculteit Recht, Economie, Bestuur en Organisatie is geregeld met de faculteitsraad. Naast de faculteitsraad kent de faculteit verschillende opleidingscommissies. De opleidingscommissie is het advies- en overlegorgaan, waarin per opleidingen alle onderwijsaangelegenheden (o.a. de vakevaluaties) worden besproken.
Faculteitsraad De faculteitsraad is het gekozen medezeggenschapsorgaan van de faculteit voor personeel en studenten. De faculteitsraad heeft 24 zetels : 12 voor personeelsleden en 12 voor studenten. Het faculteitsbestuur bespreekt met de faculteitsraad de onderwerpen waarop zij wettelijke bevoegdheden heeft en voorts alle andere onderwerpen die het faculteitsbestuur dan wel de faculteitraad van belang vinden om te bespreken. In de jaarplanning zijn de vaste agendapunten van de faculteitsraad opgenomen bij de betreffende vergadering. De taken en bevoegdheden (pdf) van de faculteitsraad zijn beschreven in het faculteitsreglement, dat een facultaire uitwerking vormt van hetgeen bepaald is in de Wet op het Hoger onderwijs en Wetenschappelijk onderzoek (WHW). De (interne) werkwijze van de faculteitsraad is vastgelegd in een Reglement van Orde.
Faculty Counsel
Participation
The participation within the faculty Law, Economics and Governance is established through the faculty counsel. Next to the faculty counsel the faculty has several education committees. The education committee is the advise and deliberation body, in which per department all education related topics (a.o. course evaluations) are discussed.
Faculty counsel
The faculty counsel is the faculty’s elected participation body for employees and students. The faculty counsel has 24 seats : 12 are reserved for employees and 12 for students.
The faculty board discusses the topics on which they have legal authority with the faculty counsel and furthermore all other topics either the faculty board or the faculty counsel deem of significant importance to deliberate on. In the yearplanner the fixed topics of the faculty counsel are appointed to the appropriate meeting.
The tasks and powers (pdf) of the faculty counsel are written in the faculty code, which embodies a faculty edition of what is determined in the Law of Higher education and Scientific research (WHW). The (internal) method of the faculty counsel are written in a Code of Order. |
