A new time, a new start of the year. Once everyone is settled and got used to studying again, it is the time to introduce to you all: The new board of ECU’92! This board is in no way like any board that went before us. Four people with a will of their own, a very young and ambitious board. Since our installation on the 8th of September, this board has been working very hard to get things started up. Of course it is important for you to know the people behind the study association

I suspect I might just have the most striking appearance in this year’s board. Not only am I the only male, I am easily recognizable by my braids and my dark skin tone. As if just being surrounded by females wasn’t enough, I’m also the oldest person on the board being 22 years of age. On the upside, I get to carry two titles this year. Both Secretary and Coordinator internal affairs were assigned to me, which puts me right in the middle of the association. Oh and I almost forgot, my name is Joey.

After Joey, I am next to introduce myself. My name is Hieke Keizer and this will be my third year at the Utrecht University School of Economics. My role in the board is both that of treasurer and that of coordinator educational affairs. For you this means that if you have any questions regarding finances, education or the book sale that you think relate to the association, I’m your go-to person! I hope this gives you a better idea of who I am and that I will see you all at the book sale at the beginning of period two!

For the ECU’92 noobs among us who still don’t know me, my name is Lysanne van der Vliet and I am 21 years old. My recent history didn’t always take place on the ECU playground. However, I was able to put a mark on the association. Successes inside ECU’92 consist of being a freshmen coach twice and participation in the Studytrip committee. When I was a coach I inspired many freshmen to become an active ECU’92 member. And I am lucky to cooperate with a few of them at the moment. This year I’ll take care of the External Affairs of ECU’92 and hopefully you are all willing to participate in labour market orientating activities and preparing yourself for a beautiful future by doing so.

And last but not least; there is me, Laura van der Stee, the chairman. Together with Hieke, I am only 20 years old which makes me one of the youngest of this board. I am here to make sure the other three don’t kill each other while doing their jobs. No, just kidding. It has become a very close group of people who are working really hard so I just have to stick to my own tasks: Making sure everything we planned at the beginning of the year really happens and making ECU’92 bigger, better and even more fun!

Now you know who we are, you can always find us at one of the two board rooms, doing what we are supposed to. Making coffee and a lot of really great activities and fun things happen for our members!
